Oh what a year it has been! We had no idea we would still be battling a pandemic this far in to 2021, and now going into 2022. This has still been a challenge this year, but also somewhat the ‘new normal’ we will face for a long time. Personally, 2021 was a year of growth and change, and professionally, 2021 reminded us of what used to be and how to handle the chaos. This year was better than last year in many ways, and we have a great 2021 Weddings Recap lined up for you!
Details
We have seen a lot more couples invest in the details this year. We live for the wedding details, because, after all, it is what makes the wedding yours. Couples that choose to work with artists to customize every aspect are our favorite. Whether it’s branding your wedding from start to finish or having a live painter illustrate your first dance, we are here. for. it! This is something we don’t think will go away anytime soon, as we are noticing couples loving the details as much as we do. It should be something that is budgeted properly for, and we are happy to help with that!
When Life Gives You Lemons…
If there was a couple that was going through it all, it would be Kelly & David. Their wedding stands out in so many ways! We worked with them to plan their wedding details twice due to Covid and as if that wasn’t enough, they had so many hardships the months and weeks before their wedding. We were happy to take the reigns and produce the absolute most perfect day for them in the end! This one made our 2021 Weddings Recap because of their strength as a couple and resiliency to take whatever life throws at you, when wedding planning and life in general! We love hearing their stories and having such strong couples as clients.
Vision
It’s sometimes difficult when you start planning to come up with your vision. Some couples know it right away, and some let it develop as the planning goes along. Either way, our favorite is when the vision comes out better than you ever imagined! This happens with a trusting couple and amazing vendor team. We worked with a great couple to enhance their vision from the beginning. This one made our 2021 Weddings Recap from just a couple of months ago. It was such a gorgeous mix of acrylic details, gold tones and a classic black & white color scheme. We cannot wait to show you more of this one, so stay tuned!
This was just a small glimpse into our year, and we cannot wait to see what 2022 brings for us!
