Diane & Glen – August 12, 2017 – Maison & Jardin

We knew from the beginning that these two wanted their wedding to be two things: tropical & romantic. They achieved that with the decor, and the location screams luxury & romance! We loved working with this sweet couple to ensure their day was absolutely perfect.

Having an August wedding in Florida pretty much means that you have to have an indoor wedding, regardless of rain or shine. Diane & Glen embraced the venue’s indoor space, and decided to focus their ceremony on the gorgeous ballroom windows. Their ceremony was performed by their pastor, and included prayers with family members, laughs and tears of joy. This Tropical Romance Wedding featured two pedestal arrangements of tropical florals, and chair accents of starfish and bright ribbons.

Cocktail Hour was on the outdoor (covered) patio, where guests mingled while the couple took photos all around the property. The lighting at this time was just perfect for the ‘just married’ photos that we always love! Sydney Marie Photography had a field day with this fun couple and the perfect sunlight. As guests entered the luxurious reception space, they were welcomed with accents perfect for the Tropical Romance wedding theme. Tables were decorated in soft ivory linens, with gold chiavari chairs. Centerpieces were made of birds of paradise and shells & starfish elements. This venue is so beautiful on it’s own, so not much decor is needed!

The DJ kept this crowd dancing all night. Even the groom, a self-proclaimed non-dancer, even had some moves to show off! Our favorite part of the night was the sparkler exit into the groom’s cool midnight blue Mustang. We wish this sweet couple and their amazing families all the best, always!
