Silver and Slate Wedding

Angie & Josh – September 15, 2017 – Eagle Creek Golf Club

It was a beautiful September day in Orlando for a silver and slate wedding when Angie & Josh tied the knot! With about 100 of their closest family and friends as witnesses, and their two adorable sons, the tears and smiles shown brightly as they finally said: “I do”.

The ceremony was just gorgeous! The Eagle Creek pergola and golf course were the perfect backdrops for their very personal ceremony. Wooden signs reading the lines of 1 Corinthians 13 lined the aisle that guided Angie to her loving groom and to their future together. But not before their boys tried to steal the show! JJ pulled little James in a red wagon down the aisle to be there right alongside Mommy and Daddy as they vowed to forever.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into the clubhouse for drinks and appetizers while the bridal party took photos. Music was playing, old friends caught up and new friends got to know each other. There was even a photobooth that turned out to be a huge hit! Another feature of cocktail hour was their very creative guestbook. Rather than signing a traditional book, guests were asked to sign a Jenga piece and help “build the memories”.

The reception could not have been more beautiful! We loved how this slate wedding came out. Blush and blue floral accents really topped off the decor nicely. Silver lanterns sat within a wreath of eucalyptus to create a simple yet elegant centerpiece. After the newlyweds were introduced to their guests, they danced for the first time as husband and wife. But their first dance would not have been complete without being joined by the rest of their perfect little family of four as JJ and James met them on the dance floor. From start to finish, smiles never left Angie and Josh’s faces. It was easy to see how much these two loved each other and how happy they were to make their forever official.
