Cartoon Science Wedding

Alena & Tom – April 7, 2018 – Orlando Science Center

We were so excited to see this Cartoon Science Wedding come to life! We knew these two had been planning for a while to incorporate so many personalized details. The entire wedding was based off of the comic strip cartoon Calvin & Hobbes. Their invitations, Alena’s shoes and wedding signage, all incorporated this cute little duo.

This couple chose to have their first look down by the lakefront, surrounded by art sculptures. Guests arrived and were directed outside. The ceremony was out on the Terrace, overlooking views of Downtown Orlando. It was an unusually windy day in April, but still a gorgeous setting. We loved how the bridesmaids’ shimmery gold sequin dresses looked in the sunlight. The couple was married by Tom’s sister, and she incorporated their fun personalities into their nuptials.

Cocktail hour was in the Our Planet room, surrounded by space objects, perfect for a Cartoon Science Wedding! The newlyweds took their portraits around the museum during this time, and had a little fun with them too. Dino Digs was where the reception took place, with dinosaur relics surrounding all their guests. Centerpieces were made by the couple and contained golden dino figurines in a natural setting. The tables were dressed in simple ivory linens, gold charger plates and navy blue napkins.

DJ Live Productions had the crowd dancing all night long with their friends and family. Quite possibly our favorite part was dessert. Have you tried Nothing Bundt Cakes?! If not, you need to-seriously, so delicious!
