A Signature Drink is a great way to personalize your wedding!
Let’s talk cocktails! One of our favorite parts of wedding days is seeing our couples truly relax & enjoy this once in a lifetime celebration. A signature drink is a trend that we don’t see going away anytime soon! They are a cocktail, or even a mocktail, that the couple incorporates into their cocktail hour and reception that reflects something about them. We’ve seen couples use their favorite drink to sip on when out with friends, a seasonal recipe or named after something personal. We can’t wait to see how you incorporate it into your wedding day!
Why wait to have a special cocktail after your ceremony?! We know that our brides love enjoying mimosas with their girls while getting hair and makeup done. Incorporate a bubbly bar with fun accompaniments like fruits and juices to make the perfect ‘Blushing Bride’ mimosa!
Once you’re married, you’ll definitely want a celebratory cocktail. Hop on over to your bar and grab what your guests are most likely enjoying too. Whether it’s a ‘Honey, I Do’ Honeydew Martini or a ‘White Wedding’ Vodka Lemonade, take a sip and cheers to a lifetime of happiness!
Something we can’t stress enough is that if you’re having a signature drink, make sure your guests know about it! A cute bar sign or menu is the best way to do this. This sign by Two Peas Designs shows two signature cocktails, one for the bride and one for the groom. Your guests can then let the bartender know which fun drink (or drinks) they’ll be sipping on during your cocktail hour or reception!
Our last piece of advice for this is to make it fun & make it yours! We love seeing personalized details. A recent wedding we did (which we don’t have photos of yet) had a signature drink named after their dog and incorporated the time of year. It’s YOUR wedding! 😉
BONUS: Here’s a great recipe for one kind of a ‘Blushing Bride’:
Need:
1. Passion Fruit Juice
2. Champagne or Sparkling Cider
3. Grenadine
Do:
Pour 2 ounces of chilled passion fruit juice into a glass. Gently pour in 3 ounces of cold Champagne, then top off with 1/2 teaspoon grenadine.
ENJOY!
