A favorite Orlando Wedding Venue of ours is Lake Nona Golf & Country Club! It’s a modern, gorgeous and quiet setting with a lakeside ceremony space and an updated ballroom. We highly recommend their team to handle any wedding or event and wanted you to see why! We recently caught up with Catering Sales Director since May of 2017, Lauren, so you can be in the know while searching for your perfect venue.
If you know Lake Nona, the word innovation can be associated with it! But, before it was built to what it is today (& still growing!), only land, livestock and Lake Nona Golf & Country Club was down there. They have grown to be an impressive club to host many different corporate, social and golf events such as the Tavistock and Solheim Cups. They also have prominent pro tour players as Members. We personally love the lush landscape and neutral modern decor inside the clubhouse (so much so, we want our house to look like that!).
As a venue that provides the space, along with food & beverage, this Orlando Wedding Venue has different packages for couples to choose from. If a package isn’t a fit for you, “we are more than happy to customize packages for couples if they are looking for something specific or our executive Chef can custom create a package based on the couple’s overall vision”, Lauren says. This amazing club also has some great amenities that couples have access too. “We include a night’s stay at our gorgeous on-site lodge, our spacious locker rooms for getting ready, golf carts for travel, tables, chairs, linens, glassware & flatware along with a 6 hour event rental and complimentary tasting”. What more could couples want?!
We love curating the perfect design & menu with this team to ensure a perfect day for our couples. “Our team provides gracious willingness to serve and that our team will go the extra mile to ensure their experience and special day is the most amazing day of their lives”, says Lauren. We couldn’t agree more! From the moment you tour, to the tasting, to the rehearsal and wedding day and everything in between, expect to be wowed when dealing with Lauren and her team.
Now, for some fun stuff from Lauren! We love hearing about everyone’s favorite moment on the wedding day, and how they different from the role they’re in. Lauren’s favorite moment is also one of ours, and that’s when the couple is just married and walking back up the aisle. “I love seeing the happiness, love and laughter of this moment. It is incredibly special and it always gives me goosebumps! I think time truly stops for that moment in time”.
Finding the perfect Orlando Wedding Venue is one of the most important steps in the planning process. It’s the first thing you can officially book, and sets the tone for the entire wedding day. We know that a couple’s perfect venue may not have absolutely everything they are looking for, but it’s a good idea to have a checklist of what’s most important to you, and Lauren agrees. She says “I also suggest for couples to be as open-minded as possible when touring, and to actually go and see any venues you think you like”. We agree that venues could look different online than in person, so touring to get an overall feel of the space is the best way to experience it!
