If you’re looking for an Orlando Florist, be sure to consider The Flower Studio. Andie is hard-working, passionate and flexible for all of her clients! She has created some beautiful work for our clients and we recently caught up with her to learn more about her story.
Andie is originally from Brazil, and started her love of creating florals at the young age of 18. She was originally a partner at a local shop there, eventually becoming the full owner with her family. She moved to Orlando in 2000, and continued working for local florists when she arrived in the States. She eventually ended up buying one of them out, and The Flower Studio was born in 2008! Coming up with the name was easy, stemming from her Brazilian shop called “The Workshop of Flowers”. A loose translation of that old name, combined with the boutique floral experience she offers her clients, the name came about and the rest is history!
We can confirm first hand that working with Andie is always a pleasure. She is so responsive to us and our clients. “I always try to provide the best customer service possible”, says Andie. Clients can expect her professional guidance and full execution of ideas if needed when working with her. We love that she does not have a minimum spend, so if you are in need of only a bouquet, she’s your girl! “I am super flexible and will not sell you things that you don’t need”, she continues.
To help guide clients further, she has Collections that are pre-packaged based on typical wedding needs, but these can also be completely customized. Weddings are not one size fits all, so we love the importance of adjusting as needed and creating things specifically for each client’s needs. Whether you’re needing personal florals for your destination wedding, or full service floral and decor for your large celebration, The Flower Studio can accommodate with their many decor options!
You know by now that we always ask our friendors for their favorite current trends. Andie says “I really like organic, free-style arrangements with premium blooms and colors!”. We are seeing more and more of this now, too. Gone are the days of perfect, round bouquets. Brides are wanting more garden, flowy looking pieces for their weddings. As far as trending colors, she adds “My last four weddings were burgundy, blush and cream, so that is super trendy right now too”.
Lastly, we know that booking your Orlando Florist can be a daunting task. From each company’s personal style, pricing and creativity, there are a lot of options. The Flower Studio says “Read reviews, ask your planner for referrals and get quotes from 2-3 different florists. Do not ask a family member to put your flowers together because it could end badly”. We couldn’t agree more! We always encourage professional florists to make the clients’ and our live easier on the wedding day!
