We’ve got a treat for you with this one, friends. Just about 30 minutes north of Downtown Orlando, in Winter Springs, is the Luxmore Grande Estate. If you haven’t heard of it or paid them a visit, you are missing out. If you love that mansion feel for your wedding, with an intimate flair, then this one is for you! We’ve recently caught up with their team and can’t wait for you to find out more about this gem of a space.
Would you believe that Luxmore Grande Estate actually started as a private residence!? It was built in 2001 and RW Events acquired it in 2014 to turn it into a private venue. It took about a year and a half to renovate it into what it is today. We love having them share this little piece of the property’s history when we visit with couples because it makes the space even more amazing knowing it used to be someone’s home!
Just like at their sister property, and another one of our favorites, Cypress Grove Estate House, couples work with their team during the booking and details process. It’s around the 3 month mark where their brand managers step in to start finalizing details with the couple & us. We typically attend these meetings if our services allow, to ensure that we’re all on the same page and help you make any decisions needed at that time.
Their most popular package for ceremony & reception events offers access to the facility at 10am for the couple to get ready, and also includes tables, chairs, house linen, and more! We cannot stress how amazing it is that a venue allows you to arrive on property that early! It often adds more stress and planning when you have a getting ready location then have to get to the venue only a couple of hours before. This is something that makes this venue stand out in our opinion.
The RW team agrees that their favorite detail of the property is the built-in bar, which was flown in all the way from Chicago by the previous property owner. The speakeasy style bar is such a fun space to add unique decor & style! This is a big trend we’re seeing now too! Don’t forget your bar when it comes to your overall wedding decor. Whether it’s upgrading to a fun rental piece or dressing up an already-present bar with extra floral decor and signage, make it personal and look like it wasn’t an afterthought.
The venue search can be a long, daunting process. It’s tough to find THE one place that checks off all the boxes for your dream wedding.
