Purple JW Marriott Wedding

Juliana & John – November 13, 2021 – JW Marriott

We worked with this entire family for this Purple JW Marriott Wedding. Their initial wedding was at a different venue in 2020, so we went through multiple changes throughout the planning process. We started working with them to be there occasionally throughout the planning, but ended up handling most of the details for this sweet couple with everything they had going on in their lives!

This long-anticipated day started out with an extensive setup from multiple vendors. Florida also decided to throw us a curve ball with some potential threatening weather, but we persevered and the weather ended up cooperating beautifully! The couple enjoyed the morning with their closest friends in their spacious hotel rooms while we continued to handle all of the details for this Purple JW Marriott wedding.

They were able to do their first look, wedding party photos and family photos all before the ceremony. This made their day so relaxing and allowed everyone to enjoy cocktail hour. The ceremony gazebo was dressed with flowing white sheer fabric and organic greenery with purple blooms. It was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony!

After cocktail hour on the Terrace with LOTS of food to go around, guests made their way upstairs to the ballroom. As you entered the space, you were greeted with – you guessed it – purple! Being the bride’s favorite color, we knew we had to incorporate it as much as possible in this reception. She even changed dresses during cocktail hour to make her entrance in her favorite color! The ballroom was draped in a white satin fabric, and tables were dressed in white linens. The napkins were a beautiful shade of purple on top of a silver and glass scalloped charger plate. There were multiple centerpieces for this Purple JW Marriott Wedding, with some being garlands with candles, tall & full arrangements and low elegant arrangements. The purple uplighting throughout the room put the icing on the cake for this ballroom reception! Speaking of cake, it was an elegant white cake accented with purple blooms.

Our favorite moment of this one was revealing the reception space to the entire family. It was a moment that we saw all of our hard work come to life and loved seeing the emotions, even from Dad! After special dances, toasts and a four course dinner, these two partied the night away with all of their loved ones.
