Blue & Green Casa Feliz Wedding

We first started working with this sweet couple to help them bring their vision to life towards the end of the planning. They loved the planning offerings we had to make their Blue & Green Casa Feliz Wedding perfect! This one was simple in the best way, and so gorgeous!

For a winter day in Florida, it was still pretty warm out. It was even overcast the majority of the day, but no threats of rain (yay!). We loved this fun wedding party group while they were getting ready in their respective rooms at this historic museum in Winter Park, FL. Once the couple did their First Look, the entire group got together to take photos prior to the ceremony. We loved how the bridesmaids’ soft blue dresses looked with the details of the venue and their greenery bouquets were the perfect natural accent.

The ceremony took place in front of the home, with the iconic blue on the shutters-perfect for this Blue & Green Casa Feliz Wedding! Performed by their pastor, this heartfelt ceremony had so many personal elements in it that were special to the couple. Afterwards, guests gathered for cocktail hour while the couple took more photos together and we were finishing up the details in the reception space.

With romantic market lighting overhead, this ‘backyard’ reception was so quaint and beautiful. We loved the mix of long and round guest tables, which were dressed in crisp white linen. The blue napkin tied everything together, along with the eclectic greenery centerpieces. French Country chairs completed the look for this one, and we think the decor turned out better than any of us had imagined initially!

After special moments, toasts and a delicious buffet meal from one of our favorites, the party was able to get started. Perhaps one of our favorite elements of this wedding was that there was no cake, but instead an ice cream truck! If you haven’t had Kelly’s yet, you are missing out!
