Spring Lake Nona Wedding

Sammie & Tommy – April 9, 2022 – Lake Nona Country Club

We worked with this couple to help tie together all of the details of their Spring Lake Nona Wedding. They knew they wanted to keep things simple, and we had a great vendor team making their day truly special.

The girls arrived at the venue early that morning to begin the getting ready process, while the guys arrived later in the day. While this was a beautifully, sunny day in Central Florida, it was very very windy! We remember it being wild seeing the wind being a constant issue throughout the day. During set up for their ceremony, the arch had to be secured to the tree so it wouldn’t blow over, and photos had to be snapped in between gusts. There were whitecaps and waves off of the lake-but I guess it’s better than fighting rain 😉

After these two tied the knot in front of 136 of their closest family & friends, they continued to take photos around the gorgeous grounds of the country club and guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the lounge. We were finishing the final preps on the reception space of this Spring Lake Nona Wedding. The guest tables were simply dressed in crisp white linen, using the venue’s ballroom chairs and chargers. Centerpieces consisted of purple and white flowers with touches of greenery. Our favorite piece of the reception decor was the cake! It looked like a tier was floating and was beautifully decorated with hand painted floral from our friends at Bakers Cottage Cakes.

After heartfelt toasts and a delicious meal, this group was ready to party! They stayed on the dance floor the entire night until we sent the newlyweds off with a grand sparkler exit. Sammie & Tommy, thank you for letting us be a part of your Spring Lake Nona Wedding!
