Art Deco Wedding

Celeste & David – May 14, 2022 – Four Seasons Resort

We started working with this couple a year out from the big day, helping them plan their Art Deco Wedding from a distance while they lived in the Northwest! We loved the intimate vibes that they wanted to have and style that we could infuse into the design.

May in Central Florida can be warm, and boy, was this day on the hotter side! But, there was no rain in the forecast, which in and of itself is a feat for us in the ‘sunshine’ state! We arrived on site on this clear day to check in with the ladies while getting ready and make sure the gentlemen were in their holding room. Vendors were arriving as well, bringing all of the prettiness that we were so excited to see come together!

Their ceremony was performed by the bride’s longtime friend on the Areca Lawn. It was intimate, and the dark pops of color really stood out! We loved the added texture of pampas grass woven throughout this Art Deco Wedding as well. After their heartfelt ceremony, guests made their way over to the other side of the lake, to the Queen Lawn for cocktail hour. The couple went off to take more photos and the bride even changed her dress in this time too! Her first dress had a stunning cape feature in lieu of a veil, and the second dress had gorgeous cap sleeved beading, and BOTH went perfectly with the theme.

The Queen Ballroom was intimately set with champagne linens, navy napkins and the centerpieces consisted of geodes, geometrics, dark floral accents and colored taper candles. It was unique and quite refreshing, honestly! Our favorite detail was the lounges set at cocktail hour and in the reception. It gave an even more intimate feeling of the space, and invited guests to relax and enjoy themselves with the ones the bride & groom love most!
