With an original background in fashion design in Chicago, owner Jesus decided to veer more towards floral design instead. Having started with a large event design company, his partner & him made the decision to move to Orlando in 2001, where they didn’t have much competition at the time and chose to grow their own company from the ground up. Their name stemmed from something that needed to be remembered. “Over time the company has truly lived up to its name, on more than one occasion has Raining Roses quite literally made it ‘rain roses'”, they said. They are now known for their artistic designs, like trailing flowers from 6’ high centerpiece tree structures, suspended bud vases from existing light fixtures or floral chandeliers suspended from the ceiling!

Once you meet with Raining Roses, you’ll understand that everything they do is custom. They are not the florist to have packages or minimums, and want to provide you with the exact vision you’re imagining. We do love that they provide two things to clients that have booked their wedding floral: a complimentary toss bouquet and complimentary table sample for one centerpiece concept listed in their proposal. The table sample meeting is something that takes place typically 45-60 days prior to their event date. This is such an important part of the process for not only the client, but for them as well. It is the perfect opportunity for them to discuss necessary changes to the client’s floral proposal. We love attending these meetings with clients to make sure everyone is on the same page as far as floral design, and it’s so cool to see the clients see their centerpieces for the first time!
You know that trends come and go, but there are certain looks that will live on forever. Raining Roses’ lead designer, Jesus, says his favorite wedding trend is the black and white color palette. It is classic, timeless and ever-changing, just like Raining Roses. There are so many takes on this design, and can be done in so many ways with the right designer!
When asked what advice this team gives couples looking for their Orlando Florist, they strongly suggest that couples do their research when looking for a florist. “Each florist has their own style and the couple needs to find the right company to reflect the style that they are trying to achieve”, they said.
