Rachel & Rob – October 23, 2021 – Orlando Museum of Art
One of the highlights of our Fall wedding season was this gorgeous Art Museum Wedding! We worked with Rachel & Rob for 2 years (thanks, covid) to plan every detail of their black, white and gold modern wedding. They hired us to help bring their design together, keeping budget and logistics in mind the entire time. When we say that we loved working with this couple, we mean it!
The couple chose to do a first look when they arrived at the venue that day. The weather was a bit warm, but not raining, which is a win for anytime in Florida! This Art Museum wedding had the perfect backdrop for photos around the property, inside and out. After some photos, we hid the couple and their families as guests started arriving for their ceremony. The Rabbi performed their ceremony under a very modern acrylic chuppah, while their guests sat in a semi circle of mismatched acrylic chairs. One unique thing about this venue is that most of the time, the ceremony is in the same space as the reception, meaning we have to ‘flip’ the space during cocktail hour.
Once the ceremony was over, guests made their way into the Grand Gallery to enjoy bites and mingling. Then, we were working with an amazing team to flip the space into a gorgeous reception! It took an army to make sure that all tables were set correctly, spaced properly, chairs moved to tables, centerpieces set, cake set and the sweetheart table was now placed under the chuppah. We love when we have a vision in our minds but the end result turns out better than we ever expected. We knew this art museum wedding would be stunning, but the black, white and gold elements of this one blew everyone away! Our favorite details were the individual menu cards at each place setting, with a single rose on the napkin. It was a classy, elegant, slightly modern look all the way around the room.
After a delicious plated meal, toasts, cutting a stunning (black!) cake, the party started with The Hora for this Art Museum Wedding! We loved seeing the couple truly enjoy themselves all night long, in a beautiful setting under the twinkle lights at the museum. Rachel & Rob, a huge thank you for trusting us to help you with your vision and we loved working with you for 2 wonderful years! XO
