Danielle & Armand – January 19, 2019 – Ballroom at Church Street
Where do we begin with this couple?! They are so adorable & FUN! We just loved working with them for over a year to make sure every detail of their Artichoke wedding was absolutely perfect.
Let’s start by saying that when we first met this couple, Danielle said that Artichokes had to be incorporated somehow. Note taken! We made sure to have this fun food throughout the decor, but in a subtle way. The colors included blush and gold as a neutral, with ‘artichoke’ colors of green and purple as well. The venue set the tone with it’s vintage feel, and really allowed us to incorporate anything we wanted in the design.
After a sweet first look with her dad, Danielle saw her (almost) husband before the ceremony. We love when couples choose to share a private moment like this! The ceremony took place in the small patio, with absolutely perfect lighting. Simple aisle decor of candles and two large arrangements framed the space for this couple to say ‘I Do’.
While guests were in cocktail hour, we were confirming everything was set in the ballroom upstairs. Our favorite detail of this was the textured lighting. It was a….any guesses?!….an artichoke (!!) turned into different patterns. This was an abstract way to incorporate the most important detail into the reception! Soft ivory linens dressed the table, as well as gold chiavari chairs and charger plates. The napkins were a subtle green to accent the rest of the decor.
A CO2 Grand Entrance and multiple confetti blasts made this artichoke wedding reception a ton of FUN! It was one we truly didn’t want to end. They also had possibly the best Grand Exit we’ve ever seen–with Disney light up toys!
We truly had the best time working with this couple and being a part of their artichoke wedding! Danielle & Armand, a HUGE thank you for including us! We loved your fun spirits and helping you plan the Best.Day.Ever! XO
