Black & White Cypress Grove Wedding

Nicole & Sean – February 1, 2020 – Cypress Grove Estate House

This Black & White Cypress Grove Wedding was such a fun one to be a part of. Nicole & Sean concentrated on being “Crazy In Love” (cue Beyonce song) and enjoying their special day with their 170 guests.

When we arrived that day, the girls were upstairs enjoying the pampering before getting dressed in their gorgeous black gowns, while the guys were hanging out downstairs. We were making sure that everything was getting set up perfectly. We always think less is more, and the ceremony gazebo was decorated with an asymmetrical bunch of floral to outline the top and side. It was dramatic but not too much, and very cool!

Guests enjoyed Cocktail Hour under the “Plan B” tent (you really never know in Florida!), while finishing touches were being put on the reception space. The sun started to come out before the reception, just in time for a gorgeous lakeside sunset to set the mood for this dinner. On their way into the reception space, guests grabbed a glass of bubbly to escort them to their tables. Guest tables were a mix of long and round, and all were dressed in white linens with white garden chairs. Black charger plates made a sharp contrast to the tables, and gold accents were tied into the centerpieces and candles. Our favorite reception design detail was the sweetheart table area. The newlyweds sat at their own wooden table, with hanging florals above them! This Black & White Cypress Grove wedding reception was simple but had lots of fun accents throughout.

A delicious plated meal, followed by some cupcakes, cookies and LOTS of dancing, guests enjoyed themselves the entire time. They were also able to take photos at the photo op station with the neon sign and enjoy Domino’s Pizza & Krystal Burgers as a late-night snack!
