Shannon & Justin – February 24, 2024 – Winter Park Events Center

We loved this black & white wedding because it was one of our (past) own tying the knot! Shannon worked with us as an assistant planner for a while and now it was finally her turn. She planned everything perfectly and we were happy to carry out the details for her and Justin! 

The couple chose this venue because of its architectural beauty, modern touches and minimalist design. They could still have their lakeside ceremony out in the amphitheater, and get cool photos in between the buildings. Because they chose to do a first look prior to their ceremony, Shannon dressed at the venue. It was such a special moment with just the two of them and it took the nerve off of the day! After that, they did their wedding party photos before guests started to arrive. The entire wedding party looked so good in black, which we think always adds a formal touch to any event. 

The ceremony was performed by a former boss of the couple, so it made it that much more special! The setting was beautiful and the focal point was on them and their marriage. After a short & sweet ceremony, we proceeded with family photos while guests were upstairs at cocktail hour. The inside of this black & white wedding was simple, romantic and elegant. This Winter Park wedding venue comes with gorgeous black chairs, which fit the theme of this wedding perfectly! Tables were dressed in coordinating black linens and napkins, and the centerpieces were simple pops of white floral. Overall, the aesthetic was minimal chic as we like to call it. After meaningful toasts, family moments and a delicious buffet dinner, the couple danced the night away with their closest family & friends.
