Have you ever seen a table without a centerpiece? Us either. Let’s face it, wedding centerpieces are a complete necessity. Whether it’s grand, simple or non-floral, it is still needed. They tie the dinner table together while adding your personal touch to your wedding decor. We’re covering different types of wedding centerpieces and insight on their pricing.
Tall
Quite possibly the most popular type of centerpiece, tall arrangements give dimension and height to the room. They can also add luxury and drama to your wedding design, and are usually on some type of glass or metal stand. This type of centerpiece can include mostly floral, mostly greenery or a good mix of both. Keep in mind that because of their size, these can be on the higher end of the budget. Pro Tip: these can be set at the ceremony and then repurposed on the tables!
Short
This centerpiece is more budget-friendly than above, but can still offer the same effect. We suggest having both tall and short to add even more dimension to your reception. It would be boring to have all tables look the same, so switch it up! Make sure to include candles or votives around these to add a romantic glow.
Long
So you’re planning to have long tables at your dinner reception. Long wedding centerpieces can be pricy. We’ve been seeing a lot of garland type of arrangements down the middle of the tables. These can be made of mostly greenery for an organic feel or they can have some blooms or small bud vases scattered throughout. Either way, they add a grand effect for such a large table and we are loving this trend. They are priced usually by the foot and can be repurposed from the ceremony aisle or decor.
Non-floral
Each wedding is different and has a different vibe. There is also a different budget for every wedding. For those wanting more romance than excessive floral, try this timeless option. Made of a simple trio of candles, either floating or pillars, it adds the perfect touch! Adding greenery or rose petals around accessorizes the look, and we always add votives or smaller candles around for added glow!
Focal Point
This might be our favorite of all wedding centerpieces. However, it is the most expensive because they can be excessive. We don’t suggest these for every table, but are an amazing addition to your decor for your sweetheart/head table or cake table or seating chart. Having a focal point will make your wedding stand out and wow your guests!
Whatever you have in mind for your wedding centerpieces, know that there are options. We love seeing couples truly incorporate their styles and personalities. If you’re more simple in nature, you probably won’t want tall extravagant arrangements. We are happy to help guide our clients in the right direction when it comes to gorgeous florals!
