We work often with Orlando Caterer Puff N Stuff, and let me tell you that they are amazing! Their staff, menus and execution are all always on point, and we highly recommend them for any wedding or event! We recently caught up with one of their Special Event Coordinators, Brittany, to learn more about what they can offer our clients. Besides a venue, catering is going to be one of the first things that you decide on (and probably the biggest chunk of your budget!). You will want to make the best decision on your wedding food because this is what guests will talk about for months or years to come!
You might wonder where Puff N Stuff got it’s name. Back in the 70s, a husband and wife opened a pastry shop in Trinidad before moving to FL, where they quickly entered the world of catering. Since their son took over in 2003, Puff N Stuff has grown to become a top Orlando Caterer.
A lot of couples don’t realize all that goes into wedding catering. You can expect honest and professional guidance throughout the entire planning process with this team. From the early stages of gathering a proposal, to client meetings, to executing on the day, this team is always on point. Something we can point out that is very reassuring to couples (& us!) is they have a supervisor on-site so there is always one point person for their team. “We also listen and share pertinent information while always adhering to timely communication”, says Brittany.
When asked what trend she’s seeing now, Brittany said “we are seeing the Chef Attended Stations come back in a fabulous way!” We agree and these allow couples to introduce different culinary styles, while minimizing guest contact with the food being prepared; which is an important topic these days. Brittany continues “I am huge fan of the station style because the plates are composed and well thought out, and the concept can be incorporated to any part of the event – cocktail hour (sushi roller or oyster shucker anyone?), reception (you can’t beat an amazing risotto or paella station) or even dessert (our blazing donuts is a must)!” {is anyone else getting hungry reading this?!}
To close out, Brittany’s advice to couples looking to hire their Orlando Caterer has to do with budget. We can agree that there is a wide range of options when it comes to catering a wedding. “Make sure you have all the pertinent information from the caterers you are considering. Get a valid quote outlining all the costs, a deposit schedule and clear terms and conditions for booking. By sharing your general budget parameters, your catering specialist can zero in on the options that are best suited for you, and offer the most for your money”.
