Blue Lake Mary Wedding

Emily & James – September 29, 2018 – All Souls & Lake Mary Events Center

Oh my gosh, where do we even begin with these two?! We started working with this super sweet couple {and their adorable pug} over a year ago! Actually, when we first met with them, they had their dog Jack with them, so we knew he would be a part of their Blue Lake Mary Wedding somehow.

The ceremony took place in the adorable historic chapel of All Souls Church in Sanford, FL. This church was over 100 years old and was the perfectly quaint background for these nuptials. 130 of their closest family & friend witnessed Emily & James tie the knot before heading to Lake Mary Events Center for the celebration! The couple, their families and bridal party stayed behind to take photos before loading the bus to head to the reception. We were hard at working making sure this Blue Lake Mary Wedding was coming together perfectly. This couple was very organized and particular on what they wanted. The design incorporated light and dark tones of blues paired with grey and silver.

Cocktail Hour took place in the Rotunda and overflowed onto the patio. Our favorite part was when Emily surprised James by having Jack the pug brought to the venue during their portrait session! He was so excited to see his furbaby, and we were so happy to see them happy. The sunset over the lake while they were taking photos was really the perfect touch as well.

As guests entered the ballroom for the reception, the live band was playing and there was a romantic glow in the room. Tables had dark blue linens with silver chiavari chairs and charger plates. Candles surrounded all of the centerpieces to add to the ambiance. The head table was set for 14 of their bridal party members to dine with the bride and groom.

Emily & James, from the gorgeous decor to Jack making an appearance (even as a Groom’s cake!) to the fun atmosphere and sparkler exit, we can’t thank you enough for letting us be a part of your Blue Lake Mary Wedding! XOXO
