Casie grew up surrounded by a camera on holidays and vacations to capture those special moments. This, coupled with her artistic and creative mind, helped her fall into her current role. “When I first started I was just taking senior photos of my friends at school, then that slowly turned into couples photos, and finally in 2010, I was trusted to photograph my very first wedding and the rest was history!” She says her biggest influence was her parents’ elopement-just them, a few witnesses and a single roll of film to capture their special moments. “Thirty six images all filled with laughter, smiles, and REAL memories that happened that day. I want to give my couples something just like that, but with a few more images involved, ha!”, Casie says.
Not every couple’s needs can fit into one package, which is why this Orlando Wedding Photographer has three specific collections to choose from. “My most commonly booked collection is the ‘Essentials Collection’ which includes 8 hours of wedding day coverage, a complimentary engagement session, two photographers, and some film captured throughout the day”, she says. We agree with her when she let us know that this is her base/minimum, and what most couples decide on. This covers some of the getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, and most reception coverage. You can always add time on to any collection, if you desire.
You know we always ask about wedding trends from our friends’ perspectives. This fun-loving photographer said that her favorite trend right now is the idea of “Flower Grandmas”. This is an alternative to having grandmas walk in the beginning of the processional and you don’t have anyone in the role of a flower girl. “It is literally the best thing”, she says.
Finally, Casie offers some great advice for engaged couples looking for their Orlando Wedding Photographer. “Make sure you really and truly vibe with the photographer that you choose. The video call is the best way to really make sure if you have a connection”. We couldn’t agree more, and always tell couples that looking at photographers’ work is great, but how do they make you FEEL? Can you picture yourself in their photography style in your venue’s setting?
