Jessi & Bryan – October 14, 2023 – Orlando Science Center

We started working with this fun couple to help them tie their design together. They knew they wanted a Celestial Wedding, but weren’t quite sure how to achieve that look. The bride is a creative and incorporated so much artwork that she designed herself. It was refreshing and fun to do something a bit different with bright colors in such a cool space! 

The couple and their party members got ready downtown, not too far from the venue. Jessi did a first look with her dad at the hotel before doing a first look with her soon-to-be-husband near the lake at the Menello Museum. The weather was so perfect for a fall Florida day, and they were able to take all wedding party and family photos before heading over to the Science Center before the ceremony. 

The terrace, which showcases downtown in the background, was the most beautiful backdrop for their ceremony! The moon arch was the focal point, decorated in purple and blue florals. After a heartfelt ceremony, guests made their way into the “My Planet” room for some refreshments! This space is unique because it is a museum during the day, and once it closed to the public, it was all hands on deck to from this vendor team transform the dinosaur exhibit into a celestial wedding! The dance floor had to be set, the brightly colored linens laid, the textured centerpieces put down. Our favorite details of the space was a custom celestial wedding ‘chandelier’. Jessi had an inspiration photo that we tried to mimic, with white hanging stars above the dance floor, so you’re literally “dancing under the stars”. It was the centerpiece of the entire room!

Almost 200 of their closest family & friends enjoyed a delicious plated meal, some fun toasts and a sweet dessert display before the party got started. And this group knew how to party-they did so until the bitter end of the reception with a great playlist!
