Colorful Summer Wedding

Tayler & Christian – August 26, 2022 – Winter Park Events Center

This colorful summer wedding was so memorable! Not only was it bright, but so much FUN! The couple chose to do things in non-traditional ways and the change up was refreshing for us. From the decor to the food and the rockin’ band, everyone had a great time celebrating this couple.

You already know what summer days could look like here in Central Florida. Early on in the day, the weather was bright & sunny, but things quickly took a turn for the worse and we made the call to have the ceremony indoors. We made the right decision because it poured rain right at ceremony time and for some of the evening! However, their guests never knew it was supposed to be outside and the indoor back up space was so pretty with the large windows behind them. After a heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the foyer of the building, while we flipped the space into the reception.

The couple chose not to do a first look, but did a first touch where they read their vows to each other, and it was so sweet! This means they were busy taking photos in any dry location during cocktail hour while we were making sure the details were set. The reception menu was stations, and there was no assigned seating. They wanted their reception to feel more like a party, and not a stuffy dinner. Guests mingled and enjoyed the fluidity of the event. There were some tables that were dressed in brightly colored vases and complimenting floral, perfect for this colorful summer wedding! Overhead, there were market lights to mimic an outdoor space and add ambiance!

After guests finished eating, the band got started and didn’t stop partying all night long! We loved watching these two have a live band that they have loved for so long as part of their special day, while truly enjoying the company around them.
