Destination Orchid Garden Wedding

Danielle & James – April 4, 2019 – Orchid Garden Orlando

This Destination Orchid Garden wedding didn’t start out as a destination wedding. The couple lived in Orlando for a while then moved to Chicago. They knew they still wanted their wedding close to their family & friends, and Orchid Garden was the perfect place for their special day!

When we say this couple was the absolute sweetest, we mean it! They were so kind, thoughtful and trusting. Planning from a distance can be hard (especially when you move out of the state in the midst of it), but we were happy to help make sure every detail went off without a hitch!

A majority of their guests were coming from out of town, so having a Thursday wedding didn’t seem out of the ordinary. It was just starting to warm up in early April, and we managed to dodge the springtime rains. Guests settled in for the ceremony on the bottom floor, while happy to be reunited to celebrate Danielle & James. The ceremony took place on the stairs, so every seat came with a great view. Heartfelt vows were said and love notes were placed into a wine box during this sweet ceremony. After tying the knot, Danielle & James were able to wander a bit around Church Street for some photos, along with taking gorgeous shots around the venue. Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails in the lovely stone courtyard of the venue.

This Destination Orchid Garden wedding was simple and sincere. It was filled with everything the couple loved most, including a Disney songs playlist during dinner and delicious desserts! Guests enjoyed dinner upstairs in the venue, then continued to dance the night away back downstairs. Danielle & James, a huge thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful wedding day. XO
