Dusty Blue Cypress Grove Wedding

Caitlin & John – March 7, 2020 – Cypress Grove Estate House

This Dusty Blue Cypress Grove wedding is special to us because it was the last one we did before the world of weddings changed. And boy, was it a good one to end normalcy with! This amazing couple incorporated so many fun moments & details to share with their guests.

Early March was the perfect time of year for this lakeside ceremony at one of our favorite venues! The asymmetrical arch covered in lush floral was the perfect backdrop under the gazebo. 120 of their friends and family members witnessed these heartfelt nuptials. They chose not to do a first look, which made that walk down the aisle something special.

After their ceremony, we grabbed a few photos with the bridal party and family members before whisking the newlyweds away for a sunset portrait session. Our favorite detail of this was the custom jean jacket that Caitlin wore as the perfect accessory with her new last name on it! We are seeing these as a trend this year, and you can continue to wear it after the wedding.

While they were finishing up photos, we were making sure the amphitheater was set perfectly. Some details of this space were the long guest farm tables that had custom stone place cards for each guests. The bar had custom koozies that featured the couple’s sweet pups on them, and there was matching signage all around this Dusty Blue Cypress Grove wedding that set the tone for guests.

After some heartfelt speeches, a delicious plated meal and a sweet dessert display, the couple danced the night away with the best company! We sent them off into marital bliss with a fun pom pom exit.
