Although this fall looks a bit different than busy seasons in the past, we wanted to chat more about Fall Wedding Trends we are seeing being planned for 2021 and some of our favorites in the past. There’s no time like the present to get your details in order for the big day, and we are here to help with any design or coordination you need.
Wow Factor
We are seeing a lot of clients want to add ‘wow’ factors to their big day. Maybe their guest counts have gone down, or they have decided to have a smaller wedding with the same budget as before. This allows them to spend more on the decor and things that their guests will remember. This installment was definitely a wow factor for this Boho Wedding. It hung right above the newlyweds and added so much dimension to the campground space the wedding took place in!
Floral
This is the most common of the Fall Wedding Trends. It’s a way to bring a fall look to your wedding with rich colors and textures. We love seeing the deep burgundy flowers, with soft greenery and overall prettiness. This bouquet was simple but went perfectly with their Fall Wedding. We see these types of flowers make their way into centerpieces as well, which can accent a dark linen or make a light linen pop. For this wedding, they were paired with metallic gold accents in the candlesticks and tableware. Such a classic look!
Bridesmaids
Most of the fall wedding trends we see have something to do with attire. You have to adapt to the climate and also the design. Being in Central Florida, we rarely get very cold days, but beautiful fall weather is likely in the month of November and December. Having your girls accent the theme by wearing a dark burgundy dress really adds a lot to the wedding! We see these paired with the men in a dark suit, either navy or grey, and it is such a great combination!
Outdoor Receptions
Probably one of our favorite fall wedding trends is how many outdoor receptions we see during the season. We are lucky to not have to be snowed in during these months, and can have gorgeous celebrations outside under the stars! This romantic candlelit dinner was the perfect setting, while the dancing and formalities took place inside. Imagine having a romantic dinner with 60 of your closest family & friends! We loved how the long farm tables accented the moodiness that we see in fall weddings as well.
However you decide to incorporate fall wedding trends into your celebration, make it yours! There are so many ideas out there to use as inspiration, and we hope you enjoyed these. With everything going on in the current situation, it’s important to keep the wedding to be what the two of you truly imagined from the beginning!
