Southern Elegance...with Gator Fans

Avery & Bernie – June 8, 2012 – All Souls Catholic Church & Lake Mary Events Center

This timeless theme fits this couple perfectly. They were young, southern, fun-loving, charming, and hardcore Gator fans. Each one of these aspects was displayed in different way throughout their beautiful big day.

The church was adorned with beautiful, tall and dramatic magnolia trees, which matched the ones that lined the dance floor at the reception. Once you walked into the ballroom from cocktail hour, you were immediately overwhelmed with elegance everywhere you looked. The rich centerpieces consisted of ivory roses & hydrangeas, with magnolia leaves strategically placed between the flowers. On tables without floral centerpieces were gorgeously dramatic candelabras to enhance the ambiance of this setting.

Every detail of this wedding was tailored with perfection for this couple. The garter contained Gator decor. The groom’s cake was a giant alligator, perfect for the ultimate Gator fans. The favors were even chocolate alligators made by Avery! The bride herself even handcrafted the Swarovski Crystal details on her own bridal shoes–truly a one of a kind! The place cards were unique as well, and staying true to theme, were real magnolia leaves with guests’ name hand written on them. Our favorite part was seeing all of these details come together after everyone’s hard work throughout the planning process.

We truly enjoyed every minute we got to work with this couple and their family & friends! Thank you again for letting us be a part of your big day, even if you are Gator fans 🙂
