Jewel Tone Wedding

Lauren & Stephen – November 10, 2018 – St. Margaret Mary & Capen House

We loved working with this sweet couple! They knew exactly what they wanted for their Jewel Tone Wedding, and we were happy to help them pull to together.

Their ceremony was at the gorgeous church off of Park Avenue in Winter Park, St. Margaret Mary. They chose to do their first look in front of the church, and made sure to include their little fur baby too! We loved seeing this tender moment between them, and it calmed their nerves before their ceremony started.

After the mass was over, guests made their way to The Capen House. If you haven’t been to this quaint historic home, we suggest you do! It has the perfect amount of Southern charm, mixed with artful culture. It is tucked away in the middle of Winter Park, and connected to the Polasek Museum. The gardens leading down to the lake are filled with art sculptures and artifacts, adding to the gorgeous grounds.

The dinner reception for this Jewel Tone wedding was off of the back patio of the home. Tables were dressed in a soft ivory linen, and accented with gold chiavari chairs. The centerpieces were simple arrangements of white florals with subtle greenery. Table numbers were in jewel tone colors to accent the theme perfectly. We loved seeing everything come together seamlessly for the decor. Bridesmaids wore a beautiful tone of emerald green, to accent the color theme. The cake had hints of magenta on it. The place cards were agate pieces with each guest’s name on them.
