Jewel Tone Wedding Inspiration Shoot – The Howey Mansion
When we were first approached to be a part of this Jewel Tone Wedding Inspiration shoot, we had no idea what it would lead to! We helped put together such an amazing vendor team, and we couldn’t be happier with how this one turned out.
We helped coordinate the details with vendors who were already involved and help build the rest of the team. It’s amazing what happens when a group of professionals gets together to create something fun, new & different. The Howey Mansion was the perfect backdrop for this photoshoot. We were marrying the idea of rich jewel tones with the vintage feel of the venue. The main focus was the ‘reception’ set up, which involved a custom-built large wooden structure to go over the farm table. It was decorated with floral accents to make it look like it’s been growing like that for a long time! Little details were placed on the table, like mismatched vintage china, agate place cards and brass candlesticks.
Our model was the perfect bride. She was styled in two dresses for the day, provided by our friends at Solutions Bridal, and each were beautiful in their own unique ways. My favorite part was setting up the (what seemed like hundreds of) pillar candles on the marble curved staircase. These photos are dramatic, romantic and all-around stunning! We chose to have her and our groom model’s ceremony on the front steps of the venue, with an intricate floral detail behind them. Orlando Flower Market spent a lot of time intertwining tiny floral details around the iron gate of the doorway. It’s the small details like this that make these shoots so fun to be a part of!
Can we talk about all of the pieces that Ocean Hawks Rentals provided for this Jewel Tone Wedding Inspiration shoot?! In addition to the reception set up, we even had a full bar area set up for a ‘cocktail hour’. A bar, with stained glass, that they built from scratch! It was only natural to have our models look as if they were enjoying this vintage bar set up at their own wedding.
We truly cannot thank ALL of these vendors enough for their hard work and dedication to make this happen. The photos and video showcase more than what we initially dreamt of for this one!
