This Korean Wedding was filled with a traditional color palette, family, memories & most importantly, LOVE! Lynn knew she wanted to tie in her family origins to her dream wedding, and that’s exactly what she planned!
If you haven’t been to the Orlando Museum of Art, you should go! It’s a beautiful backdrop for any kind of wedding. As guests arrived on this stormy Saturday in July, they were welcomed into the Rotunda to take their seats. With ivory draping surrounding the room, soft amber uplighting and beautiful gold chiavari chairs, the ceremony space was welcoming & romantic. Our favorite part of the ceremony was that it was a traditional Korean Wedding Ceremony, with the presenting of the ducks.
After the ceremony, guests quickly entered into the Chihuly room, with it’s grand & beautiful glass statue, for refreshments. We were quick at work to flip the ceremony space to the reception space. All vendors worked together wonderfully as a team to pull this trick off! By the time guests came back into the space, there were 19 round guest tables, with royal blue table linens, gold charger plates, and red napkins. The centerpieces kept with the theme, as they were beautifully tall & dramatic orchid arrangements. Our favorite detail of the reception was that Lynn & Joe decided to name the tables after different artists. It was only fitting since their wedding was taking place in a museum!
The ‘lounge’ area was filled with plush red sofas & ottomans, where guests could sit by the dance floor to take a break. The newlyweds & their friends were dancing all night long. They took a break to eat and cut the cake, but were able to relax & enjoy themselves all night long! Lynn & Joe, thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
