Lacie & Alex – December 9, 2017 – The Acre Orlando
Here in Central Florida, there are very few times a year when it really gets cold. Well, this past December, the 9th happened to be one of the coldest days of the whole year. And by cold, I mean highs in the 40s and no sun in sight!
This Merlot Wedding began with a very large tent with heaters installed first thing to combat the threat of rain and the dropping temperature. With the venue being 90% outdoors, Lacie and Alex knew that they were going to need some shelter for their friends and family! We were so grateful for Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals being able to pull through with only a few days notice!
The Acre Orlando is such a unique venue! One of our favorite features is the bridal suite that overlooks the property! Lacie and her bridesmaids had the perfect view of setup as they sipped mimosas and got ready for what was already such a special day. Lacie’s dress was a dream and fit her like it was custom-made! She held a bouquet of pink, white, and merlot-colored flowers that perfectly complimented her bridesmaids’ dresses and their merlot Acre Orlando wedding.
As guests arrived for the ceremony, we were blessed with the first glimpse of sunshine! A basket of blankets and hand-warmers sat at the start of the aisle for guests to use during their beautiful {and quick!} ceremony. In front of a wall of lush greenery, Lacie and Alex were wed in front of 150 of their closest family and friends. Despite Lacie being sleeveless, she powered through like a champ, never once showing how cold she was.
As the evening went on, fireplaces, heaters, and some epic dancing kept the guests nice and warm! The dance floor was packed all night, only stopping long enough to watch the newlyweds cut the cake {and smash a little in each other’s faces!}. A sparkler exit and a vintage car swept them away to their honeymoon and the end to a beautiful Merlot wedding!
