Southern Romance - A Military Wedding

Laura & Andrew – June 30, 2013 – Bella Collina – Military Wedding

It is hard to express in words how much I enjoyed working on this military wedding. I was happy to have the pleasure of working with everyone since they were so loving, sweet, kind and involved! From the moment I met Laura at a Wedding Show, I knew we would be a good fit for making the wedding of her dreams happen.

The elegant, beautiful Tuscan setting of Bella Collina enhanced the apparent beauty of this marriage & ceremony. Performed by Andrew’s grandfather on the spacious Event Lawn, these special nuptials were heartfelt by all, and I had a hard time keeping the tears back myself! The hues of lavender that were reflected in the bridesmaids’ dresses and floral decor added to this gorgeous, scenic, and country setting.

Once guests were inside the reception space in the clubhouse, the Florida summer rain-everyday-weather set in, but that didn’t put a damper on this party at all! Guests enjoyed the simplicity of being in each other’s company, as many of them had traveled from all over to share this special day with the bride & groom.

Sending off this couple was hard for everyone, including me. All of our hard work had paid off, and as I was watching their families bid them farewell, my eyes were getting misty. Andrew & Laura are moving to Germany for his military career, so there was an extra hint of saddened emotion present the entire day for this military wedding.

Laura & Andrew, I cannot thank you enough for letting me be a part of your very special military wedding day. I truly loved working with you and your families. I wish you both the best of luck on your new endeavor together and am expecting updates! XOXO
