Mulberry Wedding

Kristina & Jon – October 3, 2020 – The Mulberry New Smyrna Beach

When the bride is a close friend and used to work in weddings with you, you make sure her Mulberry wedding day is perfect! Mother Nature had other plans, but this amazing couple didn’t let it put a damper on their special celebration.

It was an unusually wintery feeling of a day for early October, with an all day annoying drizzle type of rain that would not stop for more than a few minutes at a time. This was the perfect amount of time to get First Look photos outside, though! Most brides would be upset, but Kristina was her usual happy-go-lucky self and kept high spirits the entire time. She was just happy to be marrying her love! Most photos were complete before the wedding started as guests started to arrive. We staged the indoor ceremony backup plan with a small seated area reserved for parents and guests enjoyed the view from the gorgeous farm tables. After the heartfelt vows, guests enjoyed light bites and drinks while mingling with the newlyweds.

While guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the spacious porch of this Mulberry wedding, we were tidying up the inside area to be completely set for the reception. Our favorite detail was the head table! A living wall was behind the Bride & Groom and laser cut place cards told guests where they were sitting. The simplicity of this color palette and the texture of the napkins against the wooden tables and gold accents made this decor a match made in heaven!

The bridesmaids & groomsmen made their entrance, ready to party. There were a few meaningful toasts before the delicious buffet meal. The couple chose not to have a cake for their Mulberry wedding, but instead had mini pies and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice available for guests (dream!). We so enjoyed watching this fun couple dance the night away with their closest friends & family members.
