Megan & Ian – November 5, 2016 – Orlando Museum of Art
Megan & Ian were tying the knot at Rollins’ Knowles Chapel, with their cocktail hour & reception at Orlando Museum of Art. We always love a chance to work at one of our favorite venues! We helped this couple pull together all of their hard work to make their dream museum reception happen.
Early November is one of the best times of the year to get married in Florida. The weather is just perfect, with the sun shining and a temperature in the 70s. We arrived on the day of to assist with set up, along side the rest of the vendor team. There were so many details to go over, from napkin folds, table placement and logistics. Guests arrived following the offsite ceremony through the side entrance to enjoy cocktails & appetizers in the Grand Gallery. The bridal party spent this time taking photos with the newlyweds around the property. There’s so many spots nearby, and the lighting was so gorgeous with the sun about to set!
Once cocktail hour was over, guests made their way into the Rotunda. They were welcomed by a sea of tables, dressed with elegant navy table linens, white chiavari chairs and pink napkins. The centerpieces were a labor of love from the bride and her family. They had spent time collecting & crafting to make the perfect keepsake for guests to take home with them. Once it was dark outside, the blue uplighting truly transformed the space in a party! Guests spent some time in the photobooth, at the bar and on the dance floor for most of the night!
Megan & Ian, thank you for letting us be a part of your museum reception! We enjoyed seeing you & your guests enjoy themselves throughout the night. All the best!
