Angel & Mark – June 7, 2015 – Paradise Cove
This couple took into account every single detail when it came to their nautical wedding. Paradise Cove in and of itself boasts their theme, nestled right on the water, hidden in the tourist area of Orlando. We helped Angel & Mark plan their nautical wedding while they lived in Atlanta, GA. We’ve worked at this venue before, so we knew it would be a breeze (pun intended).
A summer wedding in Florida can be tricky, with our unpredictable spotty weather. But, the weather gods were on their side, as the day couldn’t have been more gorgeous! With the sun shining down and a steady breeze off the water, this happy couple said their “I dos” in front of 100 of their closest family & friends. Subtle nautical elements were brought in, such as knots made of rope on the end of the aisle chairs and anchors on the wedding programs. Our favorite part was the anchor-shaped custom made ‘guest book’, complete with monogram & wedding date. How perfect is that for this sorority girl’s wedding?!
Guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour on the beach. The tiki bar, favor koozies and acoustic music added to the relaxed atmosphere. The newlyweds and their bridal party made sure to take lots of photos by the water. Navy table linens, lantern centerpieces and striped table numbers made the pavilion area look like a perfect nautical wedding. And, can we talk about the cake?! It’s stand was a ship wheel (how clever!), and had ropes and navy ribbon accents. This fun group partied all night long to different genres of music, from 80s to 90s pop to country & more!
