Orchid Garden Wedding

Lindsay & David – November 11, 2017 – Orchid Garden

I remember the day I first spoke to David on the phone. He called from Los Angeles, during his busy work schedule, to inquire about our services for his Orchid Garden Wedding. We hit it off right away and couldn’t wait to start planning the perfect wedding!

They knew their wedding colors would be Green and Gold, which worked perfectly inside this venue. Being a destination wedding couple, they trusted us completely with our recommendations and we guided them in the right direction every step of the way. After countless hours of planning, Skype meetings, timelines and vendor communication, the big day was finally here!

As guests arrived, they were greeted with champagne (how classy!) as they marveled at this historic venue in the middle of Downtown Orlando. The bride and groom chose not to do a first look, so they were both anxiously awaiting for things to get started. The space was decorated with simple floral arrangements at the ‘altar’, and guests sat in luxurious Gold Chiavari Chairs. Once everyone was down the aisle, we loved the look of the green bridesmaids dresses on that staircase!

After the ceremony, which was performed by Jerome from Sensational Ceremonies, guests made their way outside for delicious appetizers. The new Mr. & Mrs. walked around Downtown Orlando and posed for photos along the way. We were busy tending to the set up inside. The ceremony space had to be converted into the dance floor space. Guests were then seated upstairs (again, so unique!), and tables were dressed in simple ivory linens and green napkins. The centerpieces mirrored the bride’s gorgeous calla lily bouquet, with accents of candlelight.
