Victoria & Matt – November 26, 2014 – Lake Mary Events Center
During our initial meeting with this couple, one thing was clear: they knew they wanted an Orlando Fall wedding. And that’s what was definitely in the works. With the bride making most of the decor herself, she knew she wanted our help to make sure everything was set & ready to go for her to enjoy her special day that she worked so hard on.
The fall setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The day before Thanksgiving may seem odd to some to have a wedding. That wasn’t the case with Victoria & Matt. They knew they would have family in town for the holiday, so they figured they would also tie the knot! Who doesn’t love a double celebration?!
Once we arrived on the day of, we made sure the beautiful, naturally sunlit Rotunda was set, and put out a few of the items that the bride provided for us, including the programs she made. Then, we entered the ballroom to begin the transformation. The decor was minimal, but effective. Victoria, now dubbed “DIY Queen” in our book, had out-done herself with crafting all of the centerpieces. Made from paper flowers, recycled bottles and sticks {yes, from her backyard}, they fit in perfectly with the Fall wedding theme.
We almost had tears in our eyes during the ceremony when Victoria & Matt surprised her daughter with a special bracelet. This, of course, was acting as their unity ceremony. They were being brought together to be one family. Renee Silverman with A Lovely Ceremony did such a wonderful job incorporating this special element into their, well, lovely ceremony.
Their wedding day was filled with loads of love, crafty decor & family. We were so honored to be a part of this Thanksgiving Orlando Fall wedding. Victoria & Matt, thank you for trusting us with your special day! We wish you & your family all the best!
