Amanda & Jonathan – March 2 & 4, 2017 – Holy Trinity & Highland Manor
We have so many great thoughts about this couple! When we first spoke with them, we knew that they were very detail oriented and there was quite a daunting task of planning ahead of us with their Orlando Indian Fusion Wedding. They wanted to incorporate his culture with a traditional Mehndi Ceremony on Thursday night; and also have a wedding ceremony & reception Saturday night.
They trusted us to guide them through the planning process for both events. From picking & visiting with vendors, to choosing linens and flowers, we kept them on track. They both led crazy lives while working in the medical fields, most often with opposite schedules.
Thursday night’s Mehndi ceremony was simple, meaningful and FUN! The ballroom at Holy Trinity was decorated with rich burgundy linens and alternating height centerpieces. A focal point was the stage, where the ceremony took place. It was draped and uplit with a soft amber glow. The centerpiece was the gorgeous vintage sofa & coffee table from RW Events. There was a dhol drum player and great DJ and when we say the couple & their guests were dancing all night, we aren’t kidding!!
Saturday’s portion of this Orlando Indian Fusion Wedding was more like a traditional wedding and reception. The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony under the large oak tree at Highland Manor, dripping with hanging moss. The couple’s first look session is probably one of our favorites-there is just so much joy in those photos! If you haven’t been to this venue, you’re missing out. The gorgeous chandeliers in the reception space are worth it all on their own! Tables were dressed in a simple ivory linen, with gorgeous blooms in soft whites, creams and pinks. Candlelight on the tables and in the uplighting made the room glow (on top of an already glowing couple). Dinner was served, toasts were made, cake was cut and part two of dancing the night away commenced!
Amanda & Jonathan, a huge thank you for letting us be a part of your Orlando Indian Fusion Wedding. We truly loved working with you to pull everything together in those two days. Best of luck in your medical careers! XO
