Meghan & Mike – November 8, 2014 – The Rosen Centre
This was our first Orlando Indian Wedding-and boy, did we LOVE it!! All of the culture, colors, and people were so amazing to take in! I first met Meghan at a bridal show, and knew we would work well together from the beginning. Her calming demeanor and clear vision made our job a lot easier! With her father doubling as their officiant, there was plenty of guidance for us throughout the planning process.
A Christian ceremony took place on Friday to celebrate the Groom’s religion, and the traditional Indian Ceremony and Reception took place on Saturday. I must say, one of our favorite things to witness was the Baraat Processional, which formally welcomed the Groom. He was welcomed in styled too-riding in a vintage Cadillac, with his friends & family dancing around him. It looked like such a fun tradition, that we almost wanted to join in! Following the Baraat, the ceremony took place on a colorful stage, with the soon-to-be newlyweds as the focal point. Meghan’s father did a beautiful job officiating and offered comedic relief throughout the ceremony-keeping the guests fully entertained.
Stunning. That is how we can describe a few things about this wedding. The bride being one of them. The reception being another. As guests entered the ballroom from cocktail hour, they were immediately overwhelmed by the decor. The draped ceilings, luxurious table linens and HUGE room made for one amazing party. With 250 of their friends & family by their side, the couple was able to relax and enjoy the delicious Indian wedding food, awesome dance music and yummy dessert. We loved seeing the couple breaking it down on the dance floor for most of the night!
Meghan & Mike, thank you for trusting us to be a part of your Orlando Indian Wedding Celebration! We truly enjoyed learning more about your culture and working with your families to make your event a success! We wish you all the best, always! XOXO
