Orlando Rooftop Wedding

Alexa & Travis – May 15, 2021 – Dr. Phillips Center

This day honestly could not have been more perfect for this sweet & fun couple! This was the second time around planning their Orlando Rooftop Wedding, and we loved being a part of it.

The couple and their besties got ready across the street from the venue, at the Grand Bohemian. Once they were dressed, they walked across the street to City Hall for their first look and wedding party photos. They had so much fun and were able to enjoy this time (and get rid of pre-wedding jitters!). Once they arrived at the Dr. Phillips Center, we tucked them away before guests started arriving. If you have ever been to this venue, you know it’s very unique for a wedding. However, the rooftop is the coolest place for a wedding in the Downtown area! Guests were guided up to the space as we took care of lining up the family & wedding party members. It was a little warm for an outdoor wedding in May, but there was a slight breeze for this Orlando Rooftop Wedding and no one was mad about it! After a heartfelt ceremony, guests were able to enjoy cocktail hour inside while the couple finished up their photos.

We were putting the final touches on the reception space, which turned out so beautifully! There was a mix of long tables and round tables, all with slight touches of white, gold and greenery. Tables were dressed in crisp white linens and gold chivari chairs. Centerpieces were alternating of garlands and simple arrangements and candles. The head table made a huge impact on the room, with tall centerpieces and stationed in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. Talk about a view! The couple chose not to have a cake, but instead a dessert display that their guests absolutely loved.

After a delicious meal and meaningful toasts, the party really got started. The band kept these guests on their feet all night long! Our favorite moment was the last dance. ALL of the guests surrounded the newlyweds to send them love & happiness before the night was over!
