Lauren-Ashe & Jason Patrick – April 30, 2011 – Knowles Chapel & The Grand Bohemian Hotel
Let me just say I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see the photos from Lauren-Ashe & Jason’s wedding. I think Lauren-Ashe missed her calling as a model because she was nailing every pose! Romance was in the air that day, along with the sweet smell of the gardenias that were blooming outside the Rollins Wedding chapel. Sometimes there is a single photo from a wedding that has a certain je ne sais quoi – a moment that is so touching. That photo is the shot of Lauren-Ashe peeking from a window in the back of the chapel as her bridesmaids walk down the aisle and Jason, the man she has chosen to share her life with, stands at the alter waiting for her.
For this vintage-glam event, Lauren-Ashe, sprinkled feathers elegantly throughout her wedding day, a quiet melody that pulled the day together perfectly! There were a few feather’s here, some feathers over there, she even handmade feather barrettes for her bridesmaids hair. For centerpieces she worked with the florist to create charming birdcages complete with love birds, flowers and, of course, feathers!
The classic black bridesmaid dresses were so chic & fitting for a downtown wedding at the Grand Bohemian. Lauren-Ashe’s gown was so original and the design coordinated perfectly with the feather concept.
I know we say this every time, but the bride & groom (and their friends and family) were all so sweet! We are fortunate to work with folks on one of the happiest days of their lives. And I can’t hold back at this great opportunity to give ourselves props – our brides and grooms are always in such a good mood because they don’t have to worry about a thing – because they hired us!!
We wish you all the best, Lauren-Ashe & Jason! XOXO
