Rose Gold Wedding

Monique & Kristin – April 14, 2018 – Courtyard at Lake Lucerne

When we first met this couple, we knew their rose gold wedding would be special. They included so many personal touches in their ceremony & décor, including items that they worked to create themselves. We helped them pull all of the details together to make it a perfect day!

“April showers” were not a worry on this beautiful wedding day at Lake Lucerne. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and it was a true Florida, sunshiny day. Kristin & Monique were doing their first look while we were overseeing set up. By the looks of their photos, they were so happy & in love in those moments! Monique chose to wear a gorgeous lace wedding dress, while Kristin was a crisp white 3 piece suit.

As guests pulled up to the house and valeted their cars, they were directed to the backyard. The gazebo was decorated with romantic candles and rose petals that continued down the aisle. A close friend performed their heartfelt (& tear filled) ceremony. Cocktail hour was the newly renovated garden space, under the shade of large oak trees. This is such a unique spot RIGHT in the middle of Downtown Orlando!

The setup inside turned out better than we had imagined. Ivory linens dressed the tables, and were accented with luxurious eggplant lamour napkins. The mahogany chivari chairs brought a sense of the outdoors in. Centerpieces were made of gorgeous tones of purple, blush, greenery and succulents. These paired perfectly with this rose gold wedding. Speaking of succulents, let’s talk about the cake! It was a simple buttercream, but covered in different tones of these plants. Talk about unique and different; we loved it!

Our favorite part of the night was watching this sweet couple dance the night away under the stars (literally) with their closest family & friends. The market lighting over the courtyard provided a great ambiance for some dancing and a little romance.
