Leah & Carlos – January 17, 2016 – Winter Park Civic Center
The Winter Park Civic Center was the perfect backdrop for a winter Silver Wedding. Leah & Carlos had thought about every detail when it came to the wedding decor, and we were happy to help them bring their vision to life!
It was a beautiful January day, especially for an outdoor ceremony by the lake. With the large oak tree as the ceremony focal point, some light decor and a beautiful breeze, the ceremony space was set! We personally loved the heart shaped floral arrangement! It added a touch of ‘love’ to the outdoor space. As guests walked down the patio towards the ceremony, they were greeted with DIY Silver Wedding Decor. Leah & Carlos wanted to accommodate all of their guests, so they had both English & Spanish love sayings as their aisle decor. The couple had a very touching ceremony, performed by the bride’s aunt. Their touching vows even made us tear up a bit!
Guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour on the porch, which included filling out crossword puzzles (custom made by the couple), and reminiscing through the couple’s personal photos. As they entered the ballroom, they were overwhelmed with the Silver Wedding Decor. The room had a light blue glow to it, and a large ‘gobo’ to accent the architecture of the Civic Center. Tables were dressed in white linens, along with Silver Chiavari chairs and napkins. Our favorite part was how Leah decided to decorate the long guest tables-with 4 foot mirrors as her table runners! This idea is so unique & modern, and her guests loved it! The centerpieces alternated between a small floral arrangement and a tall silver-painted leaf arrangement.
The couple danced & partied the night away with all of their guests by their side! Leah & Carlos, THANK YOU for letting us be a part of your unique Silver Wedding! We wish you all the best, always!
