Samantha & Mitch – March 22, 2014 – The Mansion in Hilliard, FL
It was a special day for this beautiful couple. They had friends & family come from near and far to witness their nuptials. I was honored to be a part of this Southern wedding, as the bride is one of my sorority sisters from The University of Central Florida.
The venue was absolutely perfect in every way. The Mansion in Hilliard, FL is an old plantation. The character of the main house is like that on a historic movie set. The reception space is a converted barn and overlooks the beautiful and spacious ceremony lawn. The stationary market lighting is strewn above for added southern wedding charm.
The color scheme was coral, teal and white–perfect for a Spring Southern wedding! Many decor elements were made or provided by the ever-so-crafty bride and her mother, including handmade monogrammed table runners and other personal decorations. All of the centerpieces included a photo of a family member’s or friend’s wedding. My favorite moment was seeing the bride’s father get emotional right before walking her down the aisle. He wiped his tears with the handkerchief she made him with a sweet saying on it–such a sweet moment!
Sam & Mitch, THANK YOU for letting Plan It be a part of your very special day. I enjoyed working with you, your wonderful families and awesome bridal party! Best of luck, love & happiness to the both of you! XOXO
