Lauren & Wes – May 10, 2019 – Highland Manor
We helped plan this Spring Highland Manor wedding with the couple and their sweet families! They knew they wanted to incorporate neutral tones of dusty blue, beige and ivory throughout the decor.
It was a beautiful day in Central Florida. Seriously, not a cloud in the sky and not too warm for an outdoor Spring Highland Manor wedding ceremony! Guests arrived in the late evening to this historic venue and were led down towards the gorgeous oak tree. The couple made the hexagon arch for their backdrop, and it was decorated with coordinating florals. In front of about 100 of their friends & family members, Lauren & Wes were married by their family pastor in a heartfelt ceremony.
The couple chose to keep things traditional and did not see each other before the ceremony. They did, however, have a moment of prayer holding hands just before walking down the aisle. It was sweet to witness and helped their nerves a bit too! They were able to utilize all of their cocktail hour to take photos around the property during the perfect ‘golden hour’.
The ballroom always looks gorgeous with its grand chandeliers and wood floors. Tables were dressed in a soft ivory linen with gold chiavari chairs. There was a head table for the newlyweds, party members and their plus ones. It was a grand focal point of the room for this Spring Highland Manor wedding! Centerpieces consisted of a romantic arrangement of floating candles, touches of greenery and geometric shapes.
After a delicious meal, cake & donuts were served, because who doesn’t love both?! The couple and their guests danced the night away. Their streamer exit was one of our favorites, and their guests loved it too!
Lauren & Wes, a huge thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
