Tavares Wedding

Sammantha & Harlan – January 25, 2018 – Tavares Pavilion on the Lake

Even though we only worked with this couple for a short time, we loved seeing their Tavares Wedding come together! This weekday wedding was a little out of the ordinary for most people. The couple and their families were all from out of state and decided they didn’t need to get married on a weekend to accommodate guests’ schedules.

We arrived at the gorgeous Tavares Pavilion on the Lake at 8:00am sharp on this Thursday morning. Set up got started right away with linens, floral, table decor and more! It was an early morning for the bride and groom and their families too! Sammantha & Harlan chose not to do a first look, and spent the morning snapping photos with their bridal parties.

The downstairs was set for their intimate ceremony, with the grand staircase and wall of windows as their backdrop. All of their family members were involved in the processional, including the bride’s 5 siblings. The ceremony was performed by the groom’s father, who did a great job tying in personal details!

Once these two lovebirds tied the knot, guests made their way out onto the pier for refreshments. The newlyweds took photos with their family members while we were perfecting details in the reception area. The theme for this Tavares Wedding was that of a storybook with a touch of Disney. The table numbers looked like an actual book, and they were next to a gorgeous simple arrangement of garden flowers. Our favorite part of this unique wedding was their non-traditional dessert. Instead of cake, they had a tower of delicious ‘brookies’ (brownies + cookies), with an adorable topper!
