We recently had the opportunity to catch up with the team at The Bridal Finery, including owners Tali & Roberta. They started this boutique in Winter Park, FL in 2017 with a unique bridal experience in mind. With their combined expertise (15 years and counting!) and the fresh take on bridal salons, you will definitely want to pay them a visit.
The Bridal Finery is located in the prime area of Winter Park, off of Orange Ave. When you walk in, you are welcomed by upscale, fresh and somewhat industrious décor. With wall to wall dresses, all you want to do is start shopping! They offer a unique shopping experience, only booking one appointment at a time. You and your entourage will have the entire salon to yourselves! Talk about a personal & exceptional experience from this team.
The Bridal Finery offers the complete look for the bride other than shoes. In the boutique, they have not only wedding dresses but veils, undergarments, robes, lingerie, and jewelry. It is very important for them to help their brides envision the entire look when shopping for their dress. For the bride that might already have her dress, they offer private accessories appointments to help her find the perfect hairpiece or her getting ready robe. In-house alterations is another service they offer at The Bridal Finery. The fittings are hosted in the boutique, that way the stylist is present during the alterations process to provide expertise, feedback and assist with any questions.
Being in the bridal fashion industry, there are countless trends coming and going. While the team has their favorites of the moment, they have been seeing the trend of brides dress shopping as the very first step of the planning process. We have noticed this trend as well, especially in the pandemic. Brides are still excited and want that experience, but might not have the rest of the planning started just yet. The girls at The Bridal Finery love this because it gives them the opportunity to help their clients even more with vendor recommendations and advice!
Lastly, their piece of advice for brides is very wise. A lot of brides think that you simply can’t find your dress the first time you shop. “It’s okay to find the dress at your first appointment! Because the relationship starts even before the bride comes into The Bridal Finery for her appointment, the stylists will have curated a collection of dresses already in mind. Finding the dress can put so much pressure and unwanted stress on the bride, and we are here to make the entire process as enjoyable as possible”. We could not agree more and have had brides find their dress in their first visit many times!
