Tropical Alfond Inn Wedding

Jamie & Ben – May 29, 2022 – The Alfond Inn

We started working with this couple a little over a year away from the big day, and helped create the design for this Tropical Alfond Inn Wedding! We loved seeing something a little different than we normally see, and totally loved the summer-y tropical vibes in this boutique hotel.

The girls got ready in a suite, and took photos with each other, family and the most important guest, their sweet pup, Nash! We love how the Alfond Inn is pet friendly and they were allowed to include their furbaby in as much of the wedding day as possible.

It was definitely summertime in Florida for this gorgeous wedding day, but it didn’t rain! They had decided to keep their guests comfortable and utilize the hotel’s unique conservatory for their ceremony. The custom chuppah was covered in tropical foliage and blooms, which was enhanced by all of the natural lighting pouring into the room.

After the heartfelt ceremony, performed by the bride’s sister and bridesmaid, guests made their way into the cocktail ballroom. Keeping with the tropical/summer theme, they enjoyed appetizers, an open bar and some signature boozy popsicles during this time! We were busy making sure the ballroom reception was set to perfection. The back wall behind the band was beautifully draped in ivory velvet draping. Tables were dressed in soft ivory linens, decorated with tropical elements and mahogany chiavari chairs. There were quite a few tables, considering the 180 guests they had join them to celebrate this day! We loved the focal point of the sweetheart table in the room. With soft draping decorated in tropical leaves behind them, the newlyweds were sure to stand out in this Tropical Alfond Inn Wedding!

Their reception included some funny toasts, a delicious plated meal and a tasty cake caking, all after which the band started their first set of the night! We loved seeing how fast this crowd packed the dance floor and how busy it stayed throughout the night. Our favorite detail of this entire day was the dog treat favor bar so guests could take some treats home to their pets who couldn’t be there to celebrate! The night ended with a fun confetti drop to “Shut Up & Dance” played by the band. Talk about creating a moment to remember!
