Tuscan Wedding Inspiration – Bella Collina
The idea for this shoot came about from the venue in and of itself. We teamed up with Madeleine Collins to create this gorgeous inspiration.
What the photos do not show is that it rained (more like stormed!) just before the set up was supposed to start. Being in Florida, especially in the summer, the weather is so unpredictable. The skies opened up and remained beautiful for the rest of the evening.
We wanted to utilize the ceremony lawn for this ‘Tuscan Wedding’, but have it set facing the gorgeous building. This is the less popular option for the lawn, and we wanted to showcase it. Simple dark chiavari chairs were set, and two large floral pieces framed the stone fountain. It’s the perfect backdrop for any ceremony because it already has decor built into the space!
The majority of this shoot was set at the reflection pond. This space can be used for cocktail hour or smaller receptions. A sweetheart table, reception table and lounge were set to highlight the options. The farm tables were lightly dressed with a dusty blue table runner and coordinating centerpieces. We chose to keep things simple and stick mostly with the Italian theme for this Tuscan Wedding Inspiration. Romance was brought in with the antique gold details. The lounge furniture was eclectic and pieced together perfectly by our friends at Ocean Hawks Rentals. The invitation had a custom drawing of Bella Collina on it, of course, to bring out the Tuscan Wedding theme. A popular trend we’re seeing came from the napkins. Velvet napkins added to the cozy romance of their tables and added a subtle texture to a table that didn’t have a linen.
Our favorite part of this shoot was that the couple was a real engaged couple. They were able to use this shoot as big time practice for their wedding day! We threw a fake wedding for them to see what they would experience in the short future!
