Summer & Corey – February 14, 2016 – Falcon’s Fire & 1805 on the Boulevard
When I first met with this couple, they knew exactly how they wanted their Valentine’s Day Wedding to look like! Semi-nautical/beachy with touches of Disney. And that’s exactly what came to life on the wedding day! First, I must say how awesome these two were. They had a lot thrown at them during the planning process, including moving out of the state, but were still able to stay awesome. They were truly a joy to work with!
Guests gathered at the lovely Falcon’s Fire for the ceremony. It was truly a day to celebrate love. The weather was cooperating, and the couple was so relaxed & excited! With the gazebo & lawn decorated in hues of teal, the ceremony began. Our favorite part was that the groom made his entrance in a helicopter! Yes, you read right; a helicopter, James Bond style! The couple had a heartfelt ceremony with tears of joy & lots of laughter.
When helping build the timeline for this Valentine’s Day Wedding, we knew we had to keep room for lots of photos at Disney Springs! Disney is near & dear to Summer & Corey, so they wanted to reminisce and make sure to get fun photos there with their bridal party in tow! While they were having a fun photoshoot, guest were arriving at the reception site for appetizers & cocktails.
The foyer was set with tons of DIY decorations that Summer was so brave to accomplish! (We still can’t believe she wrote all of her chalkboard signs…can you say Etsy shop in your future?!). Guests could write down advice for the newlyweds, pick up their starfish placecards and just enjoy each other’s company. Summer & Corey chose to incorporate ‘sea’ elements in the table decor, cake and lighting. Our favorite part was witnessing the couple seeing the room for the first time. It brings tears to my eyes to see how happy they are with the results!
Summer & Corey, THANK YOU for letting us be a part of your Valentine’s Day Wedding! We were glad to be by your side as you planned the happiest day of your lives 🙂
